You have a mission that matters. I help your people feel it - and work from it, together.

Facilitation for purpose-driven organisations. Team building, strategy, and the kind of connection that actually changes things.

Hi, my name is Catherine

The organisations I work with know why they exist. They have a vision, an audience they care about, work that has real stakes in the world.

What they sometimes need help with is the inside. The gap between the mission on the wall and how it feels to work there day to day. Teams under pressure. Conversations that aren't quite happening. Energy that's gone a bit flat.

I help close that gap.

What working together looks like…

I design and facilitate processes that reconnect teams to each other and to what they're there to do. The work is physical, playful, honest, and strategic - sometimes all at once.

It might be a single day. It might be a three-month programme. It always starts with listening, and it ends with your team more aligned, more energised, and more able to actually deliver on what they stand for.

The Connected Organisation Programme

For organisations ready to go deep

A 3 - 4 month embedded process combining learning interviews with your team and audience, SHOOP® experiences, facilitated team sessions, and strategic insight - culminating in creative recommendations your people own and believe in.

This is for organisations at a moment of strategic importance: a new direction, a culture question, a need to bring staff and audience into genuine dialogue around what you're for.

Team Days, Retreats & Conferences

For teams that need to reconnect, reset, or move something forward

A single day or event designed around what your team actually needs — not a generic away day, but a facilitated experience that uses play, movement, honest conversation and SHOOP® to shift something real.

People leave with more trust, more energy, and something to build on.

About Me

At 16, I wrote in my careers book that I wanted to be a community dance artist. I was told this wasn't a job. The day after I left university, I started work as one. This spirit hasn't changed.

Today, I'm an independent facilitator based in Kuala Lumpur, working with UK and international organisations — online and in person.

20+ years bringing different worlds together Dance Development · Developmental Movement Play · Corporate Leadership Training · Mental Health CEO · Arts and Activism · Education, Health, and Social Care

Alongside my professional experience and training in dance/ movement & play my facilitation training has also been influenced by training in:

  • Technology of Participation (ToP) Facilitation: structured tools for deep reflection, consensus-building, and ensuring all voices shape the outcome

  • Relational Dynamics: The art of interaction with self and others, drawing on emotional intelligence, psychology, and leadership

  • The Art of Facilitation: Co-creation, power awareness, and group dynamics

  • Samaritans: Listening Training

  • Clore Leadership programme

  • Inspiring Leaders, MMU

What this means in the room

  • I connect and respond flexibly to what's actually happening

  • I tune into who is in the room and use it as a resource for change

  • I facilitate open, honest exchange where people feel genuinely heard

  • I bring a wide range of ways to intervene, hold, or open up a conversation

  • I bring embodied presence- grounded, aware, responsive

  • I draw on deep knowledge of group processes through experiential, practical learning

  • And we PLAY

And one more thing My recent move with my family from the UK to Malaysia has deepened my understanding of how we navigate uncertainty and unfamiliar territory. Stepping into the unknown, communicating across cultural difference, finding belonging in a completely new context. It has enriched everything I bring to the room.
